Lonavala is a hill station surrounded by green valleys in western India near Mumbai. The Karla Caves and the Bhaja Caves are ancient Buddhist shrines carved out of the rock. On weekdays the menu reads as grandiose as it can be: "Two namkeens (farsan), four vegetables, one pulse preparation, phulkas, puris and bajri rotis, butter milk, curds, salads, steamed rice, khichadi, dal and kadhi, papads and of course the two sweet dish and Paan" .... ( Ice Cream on weekends )

Every meal has a change in the namkeens, vegetables, and sweet dish. Weekend, festival and holiday menus are along the same lines but with one sweet dish extra and an additional scoop of ice cream.

Note: Rajasthani, North Indian, South Indian, Maharashtrian, Chinese, Chaat and any other cuisine can also be made available on request.
